Ryan Lukasik

sound recordist & editor

Ryan holding an Emmy. When you win in the year of a pandemic you get to do this outside your own home instead of at a swanky gala.

Hi, I'm Ryan!

I'm an audio engineer with experience in tracking, mixing, mastering, and sound editing. I'm available for freelancing in the Toronto area, whether on-site at your facility, or, if you don't have a facility, at one of several studios in the area with which I have a working relationship. I'm also more than happy to take on remote work from afar for clients who are comfortable with not being able to physically attend sessions, and I have secure options for transferring your data.

The bulk of my work is in foley. I was named as the foley engineer on the 2019-20 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Live Action Program for the PBS series Odd Squad.

Like most who work in the world of sound for film and television, I also have extensive experience as a failed musician. I am happy to lend that experience along with my knowledge of professional sound production to your music projects.

I have also been involved in several studio builds of various sizes, and remote recording setups. If you are looking to turn a space into a functional audio facility, I am available for consulting on what you're in for.

Something else you need an audio pro for? I bet I can help. And if not, I'm certain I can point you toward someone who can. Please feel free to get in touch.
